Free legal representation

The Scottish legal system is based around fairness and justice. That shouldn't be available only to those who can afford the best legal representation. Legal aid is available to support those who wouldn't otherwise be able to afford a solicitor.

Legal aid eligibility

The rules concerning legal aid are very complex. Whether you're eligible depends upon your income, and upon the type of case that you're involved in.
